It's the rhythm , the cadence, the stronger Anglo-Saxon intonation.
I adore the British accent and style of speech. It's ineffable and cute & I'm sorry I can't speak it naturally.

The UK culture is older than US. Also, it's UK's James Bond that helps to make the their accent sexier and intelligent.

Have you heard the American hick accent? It's horrid.
Maybe it's just because the UK accent is "exotic" to American ears. I love British accents, especially Yorkshire for some reason or another ^_^ There are a couple American accents I like, but UK accents I adore.

Many Brits speak the King's English, as it were, therefore their vocalized literacy gives the impression of superior intellect as opposed to the plethora of dialects and accents found here in the US. I speak with a pronounced Southern accent and find it amusing when people quite incorrectly prejudge me as being a goober huckle buck because of it. Same principle, just reversed.

It's exotic.
I'm an immigrant from Eastern Europe living in US, and I have a pretty big accent. And for some reason girls love it. It's beyond my understanding.

im from uk...and been here five yrs...married to an american everyday day pppl say that they love my accent..i thuoght i would have lost it by now..but its been with me too long..i honestly do not know why they love it..i think its boring accent..but then again i was born with it...myself i love the texas accent..its just realy nice....have a jolly christmas and a splendid new year old chap !!lol

Oh, no hon! They don't!!! There are a few people who have nice accents, but the British accent overall is not that great.
But then again, it's better than Bubba's English from down by the river...

It's just something different. Some people also think that Latin accents are better. I just depends on the person I guess.

I think the Ensligh accent is horrible. Well, I can't stand it. I have a hard time understanding British English. American English is better. I love it.

The UK accent is so SEXY, I dont know, I guess that way they have to pronounce and those funny words, I really love the way they talk.
