In my web browser i am able to delete past searches on google by clicking on the google search bar and it will display the history, then hold down the delete key and the list will start to be deleted.

This will erase everything in every form (not just google search, but if its like your password, might be worth it):

If you're using Internet Explorer:
1. Go to Tools --> Internet Options
2. Click on the tab Content
3. Click on the button "AutoComplete..."
4. Click "Clears Forms".
5. Click "Ok" to the box that pops up.
6. Click "Ok" to close the window.
7. "Click Ok" to close the next window.

Firefox 1.5:
1. Go to Tools --> "Options..."
2. Click the Privacy tab.
3. Click the "Saved Forms" subtab.
4. Click "Clear Saved Form Data Now"
5. Click "Ok" to close the window".

Depends what browser you have.

I have firefox, so I'd go to Tools>Options>Saved Forms>Clear

It's something like that for IE.
