ok i just bought an ipod nano and i'm trying to syncronize my cds on windows media player to it when u plug the ipod in it says there is music on it but there is no music in the files do u have to register it or something please help thanks

Use iTunes.
It is better when you first start off.

Be sure that your settings are all correct.
And go to the Apple website (www.apple.com) if you have more questions.

If you don't have iTunes installed on your computer, you will want to do that. It comes on the iPod CD or you can get it free from Apple.com.

Load your music into iTunes first and then load your iPod. When you are loading music into iTunes, it will go into the iTunes library. You can then create different playlists that contain certain songs from your library.

you can not use window media player with your ipod. The only way your going to get them on there is by putting them on through itunes, at that point, then you will be able to listen to your music.

connect the ipod,open itunes, introduce the cd (itunes will recognize it, and follow instructions or try to add the music as normaly)
