All of them. For the first time in years I was able to get my kids everything they asked for. I got great gifts for all my friends and family and I can't wait for them to open them up. It's so great to not be the broke one this year!

Last year I brought my dad tickets to go home (which is Mexico for him) and see my grandmother who is getting older. My dad is a self-employed construction worker, and often during the winter, business isn't so good, since the weather can get bad for construction, and he doesn't have lots of money for presents, much less for himself.
Growing up we didn't depend on presents, because of our finances, we depended on eachother and modest signs of gratitude and love. So, now as an adult I like being extra affectionate and loving/ caring, not necessarily finacially generous. But, I knew my dad couldn't have a better Christmas "present" than seeing his mother and spending time with all his brothers and sisters.
It was so nice to see the expression on his face!!! God, it was worth every penny!!! And, it's nice now to give him things since I have a job that pays year round.
I wanted to give him that same sign of appreciation this year, but he said he cannot leave the country right now since he has business to take care of :(
Hope that wasn't too much info.

proud? I never feel proud of a gift. Relief, maybe, if I have found something that really suits the recipient.
