I am a leo and show no Leo tendencies.Would it be because I was premature and was suppose to be born a virgo

Leo is your SUN sign and most people act nothing like their sun signs instead we act more like our RISING signs which depends on what time we were born depending on our sun sign...

You could be born in the cusp. Six days before the changing of the signs and six days after is considered the cusp and people on either side tend to show tendencies towards the sign they were actually born under. My boyfriend was born on the Aquarius/Pisces cusp and has yet to show one little tidbit of Aquarius.
You also have more than just your zodiac sign. The zodiac sign is the sun sign. You also have a moon sign. There are also such things as "houses" of the zodiac. 12 houses, which all represent something different. Depending on the time you were born, you may be attracted to a different house than what a Leo would usually be attracted to. ;)
I am a Leo as well, and it says that we are supposed to be "natural leaders" and "courageous" and all that jazz - just like a lion, I suppose. However, I am not very courageous. I am rather shy until I become used to my surroundings and then I am the life of the party. My ego is huge, but very easily damaged. I'm bad in groups because I prefer to work on my own - I hate being asked to lead a project or something or the sort. I would much rather work on my own and be my own leader. You can interpreate the different ideas beind a Leo differently. But I can tell you one thing - Leos are notorious for beleiving in the zodiac and psychics and all that jazz - for posting this question, you may have just shown a little bit of that Leo in you. ;)

The fact that you are a Leo doesn't mean that you will act totally like just a Leo. Your personality trates vary as to the part of the period of Leo that you were born in. For instance, if you were born in the early part of Leo say like 7/25, then you will have a lot of Cancer trates and if you were born in the late part of Leo, say 8/18, then you would have a lot of Virgo trates in your personality. My birthday is 10/5, so that puts me almost right in the middle of Libra and I act it, not because I read about the Zodiac, but others see it in my actions. Here's a good piece of advice. Don't try to live by the Zodiac, but take notice of how your personality varies due to the different position of your birth date. I always look at my Horoscope at the end of the day to see if there are any things that may have happened during the day that might have similarities in my reading for that day.

They say the stars choose your sign although if it is true I do not know. If you are born a Leo you are a Leo even if you were born premature. Some people grow into there horoscope you may be one of those people. It is said that if you at first show no signs of your personal horoscope you later will grow into it and your whole life will be controlled by your personal horoscope. I am a Taurus and my horoscopes used to never be correct but now they are exactly how the stars say. I am not saying I believe it that sort of thing it is just kind of weird.

You we're Probably Pre-Mature Baby right, You we're Supposed to be Born on Virgo, But Instead you we're born on Leo, I've a 8 Month old Nephew that's was Supposed to be a Gemini but he's was born a Taurus like you he's a Pre-Me with Gemini Characteristics.
I'm a Leo but I was born 8-6-76, was two days after when I was Supposed to be born and I do Leo Characteristics, but since you're Leo Pre-me you got Virgo characteristics, you have more in Common with My Niece she's a Virgo also like me born two days after the Due date.

You are born when you choose to be born. Being premature does not affect your chart. Basic astrology: okay, so you're aLeo. But maybe your sun is in the 8th house. You would tend to have more Scorpio tendencies that would color that Leo sun. And maybe, for example, you have Pisces on the 8th house cusp. So that would tend to give you a bit of shyness, even though your sun is in Leo. But because it is in the 8th house, it would still have traits of Scorpio, because Scorpio is the natural ruler of the 8th house. So you have to blend it all together. It's not just what sign your sun is in, but where: what house, and what the aspects are to that sun. And then you have to consider all the other planets and apects as well. Or say your sun is in the third house. Then you will pick up alot of traits of Gemini and you need to blend that with the Leo. And maybe Aquarius is on that house cusp. You would have aquarian tendencies as well that you need to blend in, as well as consider the aspects. But the Leo tendencies will always be there. I don't know how old you are, but if or when you have kids, let somebody insult one or threaten one, and you will see that lion come out and roar with full force!

Were you born within the last week or so of Leo? If you were, you naturally have some strong Virgo qualities that have nothing to do with premature birth.

No zodiac signs are fake. Sometimes the editors are correct, sometimes they aint. My horoscope has only been correct 3 out of 17 times, and I would be a leo no matter what.
