This is a tough one. In honor of the Christmas season, I'll have to go with King Diamond's entire 'The Puppet Master' album. Because nothing's more metal than making puppets out of people's skins and eyes and having them act out a Christmas puppet play.
Outside of that, maybe 'Burn' by King Diamond (at least right now) or maybe some Apokalypsichen Reiter.

i agree with gwar fan to many people don't bother checking out cause maybe the way they look but if you really study gwar they have some music that stands up to what there is out today.i think they were ahead of time and people wasn't ready for them when they came out. i did go see a show and i must say i haven't seen a show that was any better than them or will see for that.If you haven't seen a show you must go check it out.wear something that you don't care to get stained.

mmmmmm if were talking more normal metal here.... holy wars or in my darkest hour by megadeth, i know they are strictly thrash... but IMDH is not a thrash song.
also pantera - cemetary gates might well be one of the best metal songs ever. WHAT a solo.... and the acoustic intro is beautiful
its so hard to say...
