I'm not entirly sure what it is you mean by "right of entry". As Somalia is not part of the EU or EEA they do not have the right to live or work in the United Kingdom without first obtaining a valid visa.
A national of any non-EU/EEA country has the right to apply for a visa to enter or remain in the UK as a visitor, family visitor, student, spouse of a person present and settled in the UK, employee in a shortage sector, religious minister etc.
Most of these visas have requirments as to the length of stay permitted and an applicant will have to meet all the requirements of the relevant Immigration Rules in order for the visa to be granted. Visitors to the UK are not entitled to claim any benefits and most are not allowed to work while they are here.
If a Somalin national (or any national for that matter) claims asylum in the UK their case will be assessed by the Secretay of State and if they can prove to the required standard (on the balance of probabilities) that there is a real risk that they will face perseuction for a Convention reason (such as race, religion, membership of a perticular social group or political opinion) then they will be granted asylum.
Additionally, the applicant maybe granted humanitarian protection even if they do not qualfy as a refugee if they can prove that they face a real risk of surrering serious harm if returned to their country of origin or may be granted leave to remain if their return would cause the UK to be in breach of its obligations under the European Convention on Human Rights, that is that it is reasonably likely that they would suffer inhumane or degrading treatment or there would be a threat to their life etc.

They're let in like has been said because we have a gutless government, and we are ruled by UNELECTED bureaucrats in Europe.
I say that they should be deported if they commit ONE crime to wherever they come from, no matter what the state of the country. They should have NO appeal. (Poor rich lawyers!!!)
There was one on 5 live earlier saying that the rubbish who murdered the police woman in Bradford should not be deported after their sentence, because they will have served their time for the crime they committed, and sending them back to Somalia could put their lives in danger. What a society we now live in, How these people must be laughting at us! We must be the mugs of the world!!!

this is where someone claim is asylum, Somalia has never had a government for 15 years or more therefore applicants are given asylum.
I do however agree that if a person in this scenario from whatever country elect to break the law not once but repeatedly they should be deported back to their country of origin irrespective of the situation and irrespective of the country or ethnic origin.
The whole system only benefits lawyers....

They claim Asylum and that they would be tortured back in Somalia. This Government being the spineless bunch that they are just let them all in with freedom passes. Freedom to do what they want, when they want and to claim as many benefits as they for the entire tribe that they call their kids!
Send them all back to Somalia, I say and let's see what they get away with doing there!!!

I'm in the US, and it seems that every nation is facing such a crisis. I'd go further into detail but the ones responsible woudl gripe to Yahoo and get my answer removed. The ones you can not talk about are the ones in charge.
