an audience is nothing to be scared of... and it shouldnt hold you back.... what you need to remember is that whatever these people think about you doesnt matter... they arent goiong to influence your life :)... but i know that this sort of advice can be no help at all so this is what i would suggest... 1) dont look into their eyes as it can be intimidating.... 2) get some self confidence. say to yourself "hey do'ya know what, i CAN do this... 3) have fun. if your having a horrible and stressful time then theres no point in doing it... if you do mess up it doesnt matter... you are on stage for 5 mins and they will remember you for 15..... by the looks of it you really want to be able to cope on stage so i want to wish you the best of luck and i hope whatever it is that you are aiming for, you acheive

before u go on d stage jus say and convince urself dat u r the best of the best at wat u do n if the audience dnt like u den ders somthing wrong with dem not u.trust me it makes u feel so much better, dats wat i do wen i have a dance performance.

oh n b4 u go on mke sure u av the fist few moves/lines in ur head cos u tend to 4get them wen u get very nervous,ur mind goes blank, but if u get the first few in ur head then u can easily pick up n just continue, with the rest wen u feel more comfortable
it doesnt matter if u start off rubbish as long u pck it back up,they'll think ur really professional the way u handled the situation.

Rehearse and practice A LOT!! That way, when you get out there for the real thing, it will feel comfortable. And, no, don't do drugs! Then you'll have no true control over yourself, and you may end up doing something that seems right, but your perception of reality will be messed up and people will definitely notice that you're off...

It really just takes practice. The more you do it the better and easier it gets. Just be assured that how ever silly you feel - it very rarely is that bad. Try cracking a joke.... Tell them you are nervous (therefore expectation comes down along with the pressure)

Have you tried to sing infront of ur family ? Try to sing infront of ur friends cause u will feel more comfortable when u sing in front of ur closer friends or family more than the strangers. try to put ur mind somewhere else and close ur eyes for alittle bit and don't think about the people around u. It will take time and alot practice. I hope that will work

Above all know your subject or whatever you are in front of the audience to do.

I promise you if you were to freeze in front of them, five minutes later they will have forgotten you. People remember what happens to them, not others.

Remember what you are doing is important - not them. Do it to the best of your ability and if you need to slow down, then slow down and make it sound right. Don't forget to breathe. You are going to do just wonderful. I always say, "Lord have mercy on me and help me through this." And He does.

Just realize that everyone there came for a purpose to hear whatever it is your talking about. If they think you or the subject is dumb...they wouldnt be there in the first place.

Lock your eyes on something at the back of the room and breathe normally. Remember, most people probably don't like you standing in front of them any more than you like standing in front of them. lol

If you try these things and it doesn't help, you may need to go to a therapist who specializes in this situation. They are out there.
