It doesn't matter if you are married, it goes by income limits and they don't count assets. The program in WI is called Healthy Start. You may be able to search for something similar to this in your state. Also you can look at the federal poverty guidelines to see if you would qualify before you apply.

Here is the link for this in WI

i am a fulltime student too and i went on medicaid. the problem that you may run into is the income restriction. if you are married, you will be required to show income from your husband but since ur not working, it may be alright. the house really doesnt have anything to do with it. they ask for family income, proof of ID, income verification (last three pay stubs or income verification form to be completed by employer)...if anything, make sure that you keep up with your case worker and that they have everything that they need from you. they are usually pretty good with pregnant women, but sometimes they get irresponsible and take FOREVER to complete your application process. also, medicaid will cover medical expenses from the past 3 months if youve had any. good luck!

medicaid is great. It is all about your income. I am sure they will want to know all information, and I don't know for sure if you owning a home will put you over your limit or not. I know if you have to many vehicles, they will not help you. I would call and ask them what the qualifications are. good luck

Never hurts to apply all they can say is that u r over budgeted for their program. Then there is the W.I.C. (Women, Infant, and Children's) program that helps during pregnancy and after the baby is born for up to 3 or 4 yrs. if u qualify. Or r u just looking for the state to pick up ur and ur husbands tab for ur pregnancy? In that case I'd use contraceptives to prevent any more pregnancies until u can afford to have babies.

When I had to get on it for a short time I said I was living with a relative and I had no bills and couldn't work due to me being pregnant. You being a student is going to help you but you may want to say your mom pays for the schooling!

They base your eligibilty on the total monthly income of the household. Owning your home will not hurt you.
