He is definately accident prone - and it is ashame because we need guys with his personality and talent in baseball. But instead we get guys like JD Drew who gets a hang nail and sits out the game.

Hey last year wasn't so bad. I would like to say it was the Leaving Seattle Curse. Unfortunately it hasn't befallen the Unit and A Rod. I was walking around Seattle the other day. They Treat Ichiro like a GOD. Griffey, the Unit and A Rod had no idea how good things were in Seattle.

He's a gamer, he'll heal up and be back in time to play ball this year. All it takes is one bad injury to slow you up for the rest of your career (ie: Griffey's legs) but this one is simple enough, there's a million ways to break your hand. Could have happened to anybody.
I hope he bounces back.

Wow this guy is injured misses a lot of games, yet he hits so many home runs, there is no doubt in my mind that he would have been the leader if he didn't get hurt.

I really am disappointed that he keeps getting hurt he is a great baseball player and he would be close to the record if not for his injuries.

I think its called "Snakebitten". If he hadn't hurt himself 4 years ago he had a serious chance at breaking a lot of records.
