How many adolescents, ages 16 and down, are sexually active?

I understand that the age of adolescents continues beyond age 16, I was just aiming for very young children. I do agree that many many young people on here talk about their sexual experiences and that really scares me to know what kind of a sexually explicit world we live in. And it's all acceped by society.... that's awful

I feel many young people 16+ are, however I think more of the younger teens are sexually active these days. 16 has always been sort of the normal age but seems people are getting sexually active younger. At 16 a person is no longer a child by any means but the under 16 crowd creates new problems as they are at such a different point in life.

I'm 15, and by no means sexually active. Don't even have a boyfriend. With all of the school work I have, don't see how I would ever have time!

I did read somewhere though, that about 75% of teens have had sex by the time they turned 15.

I am 19 now and I became active at a young age because of some horrible people. Anyways I was active at 14. I can't regret it because you learn from your mistakes and I've learned a lot from that experience.

I became sexually active when I was 14.And I don't regret losing it that young either.I was happy who I lost it to, I made sure to use protection.

too many from what i have seen on this site, that are pregnant. I just wish they were more educated on birth control.
