I'm a sophomore and I just took the PSAT, and the deadline for registering for the SAT is December 26. I just kind of worried that I'll get a bad score, so I want to know if the score I submit to colleges is the best score, an average score, or if all the scores are submitted?

Technically you can take the SAT as often as you like. However, colleges tend to get annoyed when you take it more than 3 times. When you send your SAT scores, all your scores (all three subscores from EACH examination) are sent. If you have taken the SAT three times, all three subscores from all three times are sent to every college. The SAT does not let you pick your highest score.

you can take the SAT as many times as you wish, and when you apply to colleges, most will ask for your best scores.

PS - don't be too worried about the SAT, i'm sure you'll do just fine :)
