I don't see haw anyone could feel safer now with there being 1000 times more terrorist in the world now than there were 6 years ago.

In a way I do, because Saddam Hussein is no longer in power, but ironically I think that nothing has changed. Just because we waged war against Iraq, I don't think this is taking care of all the other countries/people who hate the United States and want to see it destroyed.
I cannot help but wonder: are we sending the message that we are strong, invincible, and determined, or rather that we cannot get things straighten out no matter what we do?????

I feel safer now that the democrats are in power because they won't go around screwing the rest of the world and pissing people off. Everyone says Bush has protected us but the thing is that no one has tried a terrorist attack on the U.S. They are planning something bigger than 9/11. Thanks Bush for Screwing the poor and alienating the world.

No I don't feel safer. When I travel abroad I tell people I am from Canada and we are on the down hill slide as an empire. I still think we have a working republic however, as evidenced by the November mid terms.

I felt safe until the Demoncraps/Defeatacrats won control of both houses
Now I fear attack soon

I neither feel safe nor unsafe since we still have not eliminated those that did attack us. Bin Ladin is still around (so we assume) and other terrorist cells pop up when another is destroyed.
