Mine would be my Martin guitar, because it's been in my family for 30 years and my mother passed it down to me. I've played it since I was 12 years old and one day my daughter or son will have it.

Cool, my Dad's got a 1953 Martin! I think my most cherished posession is my piano. It was my fathers wedding gift to my mother when they were married in 1967 and the one I learned to play on. When I moved out on my own they gave it to me and I don't ever plan on getting rid of it.

ok from reading you extended question you really do mean possession. not people. you mean thing.
well mine i owned for less than a week. the most beautiful winter jacket i have ever seen. white outsideand rabbit lined. unusual snaps many pocket and incredible style. i felt beautiful wearing it. it caught fire in class while i was teaching from a space heater. most beautiful jacket i've ever owned and i'm 57. i just loved to look at it and touch it. i cried.
but what is my truly most favorite possession is my laptop pc that my son gave gave me when i returned to korea to teach again. this pc is my connection with my family and friends. it let's me find new friends. it teaches me language. it answeres questions. it answers questions. of course it's my pc.
if i had to make a choice between my favorite personal possessions i would be hard pressed to decide between my pc and my private parts.
did i answer your question? at least i took the time to be honest.

This may sound very stupid but mine is my feather pillow. I've never slept without it since I was like five. Sure, over half the feathers have been plucked out, but I still love it. I won't allow anybody else to touch it.....lol

My Dutch Lady Cookie Jar. When I was little my Grandma stocked it with cookies for me. Then my mom got it when Grandma passed away. She stocked it for her grandkids. Now I bake cookies for my own grandaugters and fill it.

All of my family photos. I can't ever get those days back, but it's nice to look through them and reminisce.

My wedding ring, definitely. It symbolizes the incredible journey my husband and I have had together. I wouldn't trade either of them for anything!
