After watching a trailer for the upcoming movie Transformers, I really wanted to learn more about Beagle 2. I found out that it was actually a British spacecraft that was lost on the surface of Mars, but I couldn't find anything on it's last transmission. Any additional info on this would be great! Thank you.

That was bs. First off, the beagle 2 wasnt a rover, it was a lander. They just used it for part of the movie. Beagles last transmission was during the desent into the martian atmosphere. Never heard from again. Chances are, it wound up being upside down, or inside a crater, thus unable to link up with any orbiting spacecraft. Or It failed to slow itself before landing and was destroyed on impact with the martian surface, or may have burnt up in the atmosphere. It was requiring airbags to inflate just before hitting the surface also, so if they fail to deploy, would have been crushed.
