Walking on high heel shoes is easy. I learned when I was about 10. First you have to find a pair of boots with heels that are square. The boots are good because they will help support your ankles and you'll feel more steady when you walk. When you buy your boots, make sure the heel is'nt like 6 inches long, have it be like 4 inches, you'll feel more secure. Hope this helped... Merry Christmas

I'm 16 and I've always been a tomboy, until earlier this year, I went clubbing. That was when I wore my first pair of heels. They were 3 inches high. And I stayed in them for about 5 hours..? I have no idea how I did it, but one thing for me was about confidence. I just pretended I had been wearing heels for years and just walked as though it was no biggie at all. So yeah, just put them on and go out the door! (Bring a friend to grab onto in any dire situations. XD)

The same way you get to Carnegie Hall: practice, practice, practice.

It is a skill to learn how to walk in them. Start off on a lower high heel. Gain confidence, poise and balance. Graduate to a higher heel. You will eventually get your strut on, as you become more comfortable. Just don't start out in the "5" Come 'Do' Me" pumps off the bat, you will hurt others and probably maim yourself.

Good luck.

the best way to learn how to walk in high heels is to go to a shoe store and buy three or four different hights of heels. (be sure to go to pay less so you can get a good price) then walkt to a friend hous thats close in the heels.

Just practice. When my older sister got a new pair of high heels( this is a little embrassing considering my sister and i wear the same size shoe.) she would get me to break them in for her. That's the way i learned. So just practice, but not on concrete, carpet for sure.

girl...(well, i hope you're a girl...)
I had to FORCE myself to learn how to wear high heels, but there comes a time in every woman's life where you just have to do it.
this is what i did:
-i bought a pair of the CUTEST shoes you ever did see: gold, strappy, cork bottomed, wedges, that were toooo high for me to ever wear at that point. (this was my motivaton aw well as Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex in the City... i'm not kidding.)
-i bought several pairs of modestly heeled shoes and MADE myself wear them. (you need to not only get used to the PAIN of wering them, but also, you need to get used to walking in them so that you look comfortable, cool, and collected... ; )
-I gradually started wearing higher and higher shoes for nights out.
-and NOW I literally wear 4-inch heels at my part-time job in which I have to be standing and walking for hours at a time!

*it also helps to by good quality shoes, they WILL hurt less, the fabric and leather is softer and they are designed much better than cheap shoes.
*be sure to buy grips for the bottom of the soles, so you aren't slipping with every step!!
*rock those sexy shoes!!

Watch Super models walk down the runway. And prat ice that at home, you don;t need to have as much sass as they do, but you need that heel toe stride. Most people try to walk toe first when they have on high heels, WRONG. Practice.

Practice, practice, practice. put the shoes on with the stockings or whatever you plan to wear with them, and preferably starting on a hard wood floor (carpet is harder to master) just walk up and down and turn and etc. You should begin to feel comfortable in them quickly.

There is no learning tactics, it is just practice. My best advice would be to make sure they are comfortable, heals can really hurt if they're not comfy. When buying a pair check the inside and see if they are cushioned, even slightly!!! and buying insole pads can help for boots.
