is it true that now i can purchase a residential apartment & can use it for commertial purpose without society's permission?

HELLO! No u can not. You need to have the zoning changed to business.

Hi, I am sorry, but u cannot use ur residential apartment for the commercial use, As the residential apartments are governed by the society itself, and using it for commercial purpose requires society's permission, as a commercial user has unlimited/unknown/unverified visitors,so it is not advisable for the residential owners to let commercial activity commence there as it would led to lack of safety/security to the residential owners.

No! What would give you the idea that you could? The use of the property is covered by the local zoning laws and restrictions.

You can petition for a variance or a change in use. But expect a fight from neighboring landowners.
