My ex brother-in law had a book store across the street from a junior college. He also had a hamburger stand at the other end of the college. He had great business at both locations, until a person open up another hamburger stand in the middle of the block. Someone kept calling the health department making bogus statements. The students loved him and they know that this place was super clean and he only bought top quality meats and bread products. They did their only investigate and boycotted the gut down the street.
I would suggest not to go into a food business, look at Taco Bell.
