i hate it when they call him santa.....this is england! hes father christmas here, please enforce this with your children! :-)

my ,my lynne, youre full of festive cheer...its all about the magic!...i still tell my kids to ask father christmas, (15,13 &10!)

I'm of the same opinion. I alwasy call him father Christmas and will amke sure my children do the same !

Agreed. Father Christmas will always be Father Christmas. And it is historically correct, since he is the living legond of that church Father who started the tradition hundreds of years ago.

Why? There is no such thing as either one of them. They take away from the true meaning of Christmas. Whatever happened to people just celebrating the birth of our savior, Jesus? Now all we care about is gifts from "Father Christmas" and/or "Santa".
Jesus is the reason for the season! Tell the children the truth!

Sorry bout that my English friend! I really am....It's happening to us in the US too. Other cultures are quickly superceeding our own. I guess the United States of America are still a "melting pot". May Father Christmas bring you all that is good and right.

i never ever even realised until i read that just how much some things have slipped and you are so right hunni . father christmas it is and shall remain so, even when i am old and grey my grandchildren of the future shall call him ( if i should be blessed with them) father christmas,

I agree i work in a supermarket and this week when i have kids at my till i always ask what they want from father Kissmas lol i love this time of the year xxxxx

I agree, im 14. My famiely and I always called him FATHER CHRISTMAS but it's kinda all gone now for some reason, i think its because of the americans personally! I agree with you though and would be with you on bringing FATHER CHRISTMAS back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too tight, i don't have childen but i hate all this santa stuff. He is and always will be father christmas :-)
