Hammerfall, Rhapsody, Gamma Ray, Sonata Arctica, Falconer, Freedom Call, Iron Maiden, Edguy, Blind Guardian, Judas Priest, Avantasia, basically anything heavy or power metal. I like some more blackish/doomy stuff also, like Haggard, CoB, Elend, Dornenreich and so on.
Btw, Clincherhalcyon: reality check?!?! The vast majority of those bands are NOT metal, they're lousy NU metal-core commercial crap. Get your definitions straight, you're not listening to real metal.

I like a lot of the old acts like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Tesla, Black Sabbath and many more. Among the newer acts I like Casi Belli, Atomship, Dropbox, Drowning Pool, HIM, Evanescence, and Priestess. Long Live Metal.
