Go to a park. See how a little girl plays. A little boy runs wild. Getr more sad since you do not have those. Then stand in front of a mirror. Think. Go blank. Completely.

The subconscious will tell you what exactly you need to do to fill the emptiness inside you. I can't tell you because each individual's needs are different with their own unique twists.

If the above fails and you tried for a month ... no that will not happen. You will SUCCEED!

On the inside we are never truly empty, we sometimes desire something so much that we push everything inside of us out of the way to make space for this something. When we do not get this something we feel empty or when we can no longer have it we feel empty inside. When you feel like this just let someone love you. Get a hug from your mom, or call a friend or even allow a stranger to talk to you. This will mend all of the things that are seperated on your inside and bring you back to understanding that people do love you even though it is not always the one you want.

I fill the emptiness with Jesus. There is no substitute for a relationship with Him. Start by reading the Gospel of John and pray for Him to fill the emptiness. Life will become more abundant, I promise!

Physically we don't feel empty, we feel hungry, so it is the spiritual part of us that needs attention. After I discovered that the emptiness inside was a God-sized, God-shaped hole, I filled it with Jesus. When I'm feeling empty inside I realise I have not been tending my relationship with Him as well as I could be. That situation is repairable.

I walk around for a while outside, kick up some dirt, throw a rock... and think. I do some hard thinking until I've come up with some reasons why that hole might be there. I then might throw a few more rocks, and when I'm finished I address the problem.

Keep in mind, this doesn't always work... sometimes the rocks hit someone.

With thankfulness.

When you take time to meditate on your blessings, your health, the people in your life, and focus on loving thoughts, you attract more of the same positive energy in your life.

Be also thankful that you have the luxury to sit still, to be empty of emotions and stress, so that you may reflect quietly on yourself and your life in a neutral light, and appreciate the beauty that much more.

Most people struggle to discipline their minds to let go to reach a state of emptiness, and here this gift comes to you naturally to use for self-reflection. So that is something to be thankful for.

While you are in a meditative, empty state, you might take advantage of your quiet time and read about the Bible, Buddhism or other religions that require a higher state of mind to fully appreciate and absorb.

I recommend the books by Thich Nhat Hanh that are very short and can be finished in one sitting. If you go to the bookstore or library, you can sample his poetic writings, including his most popular books "Being Peace" and "The Miracle of Mindfulness."

Peace be unto you.

excellent question asked by, probably, just about all humans of themselves at one time or another. humans are multi-dimensional. the emptiness comes from lack of conscious contact with those numerous dimensions beyond the physical, especially with the "soul" level. the practices which for many milennia have worked to "cure" "the emptiness" are most prevalent in eastern religion/psychology: esoteric buddhism/taoism/hinduism, for example: meditation, energy work such as yoga, chi gong, reiki, etc. these practices quiet the mind, a leading culprit in reminding you endlessly "just how empty and pathetic you are" (sound familiar?). check out: *the complete idiot's guide to toltec wisdom*, an excellent, easily understood book on point, and the sites: http://www.sahajayoga.com http://www.crystallotus.com and, to communicate with like-minded others http://www.worldofsouls.com best of luck! ;-)

Remember that it can always be worse.
Remember all those things that make you smile.
Remember lifes little simple pleasures.
Make a hot chocolate, put it in a thermos and take a walk and enjoy the Christmas lights. It works, did it last night! Just what the doctor ordered!
REMEMBER GOD LOVES YOU!

Well, I just had lunch, and we're about to make a last ditch effort to have a kid. That's the only empty spaces I have.
