Your GPA and LSAT score are far more important than your major when it comes to getting into law school. Many pre-law programs are being phased out because law schools don't care.

English, Political Science, History are very common majors, but not at all the only majors you can choose from.

But any major is fine if you get a liberal arts degree (and in the US all four year college degrees are liberal arts degrees) as long as you have a good GPA and good LSAT score.

So major is something you like and will do well in so you have a nice GPA, even if your school has a Pre-Law major, it is better to have a 3.6 GPA in Art or Music than a 1.4 GPA in Pre-Law.

Either English, Political Science, history or Philosophy... You must get into law school and law schools look for these 4 majors mostly although you can major in anything and get into law school. But you will read and write alot, which is pretty much what these majors are.

You can major in Art and get into Law School. It really doesn't matter...the most important thing is to get good grades and do good on the LSAT as it is becoming increasingly more difficult to get into decent Law Schools.

You can major in anything, but political science, criminal justice, sociology, and pre-law are your best bets. Be sure to take plenty of law classes as an undergrad.

law schools really like science majors right now, actually. and once you go to law school, no one is really going to care what you studied in college.

Liberal Arts or English Literature, I won't recommend you to take stupid Philosophy courses, because is useless for law school.
