Yes if the wife is not using birth control and you don't want to have kids right away

As a married man I will say this. If you are concerned about getting pregnant then yes. Some couples plan to wait two years or so and then start a family. Others, whenever... I think it depends on you and your wife talking about it and going from there. And just so you know, my wife and I are waiting until we both finish Grad School to have kids, so yes we still use condoms.

It depends on what other methods of birth control they are using, and whether or not they are thinking about having a child. I would use birth control all the way up to the time I am actually ready to try to get pregnant, married or not - be it a condom, a pill, or anything else. But that's just me.

well no you don't have to use a condom....but the risk level is the same of having a child even if you wern't married....so birth control or a condom is ideal..unless you want some little ones running around soon

It depends on if she is on birth control. Or maybe one of them has an STD, in which case condoms will always be necessary.
