not only would i like to know of a store in the u.s. that sells knoppix,but also,if they deal via snail mail;and if knoppix is compatible with yahoo.(knoppix is linux distro,booting from the cd rom drive).it is said to be very user friendly.no hard drive space is used. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. (no jokers - please)

I'm using Linux right now, so it sure is compatible :)
Of course, running your OS from a CD rom is going to be slow compwared to actually installing it. If you like Knoppix then I'd highly recommend running the hard-disk install script.

Have you tried Ebay? There are usually several people selling different versions of Live Linux distributions.
