Is the game "Pimp My Ride" good on PS2?

my brother and i keep arguing because he wants to buy it but i tell him to wait for the PS3 version to come out (hopefully) he's a big fan of the show. but i don't plan on buying any more PS2 games since we just bought a PS3. Is it worth it?

No, it's not. Just because something's on a more high-tech system doesn't mean it's better. I suggest you look at the Need For Speed games if he's into tricking out cars.
