To add to all the above answers. Do not get bleach on any metal parts of the tub or shower. The best thing to prevent it is to dry the area completely, what I do is point a fan in the room and it dries by the time I get home plus it keeps everything fresh.

Mold. Bleach is a good way to get rid of mold. For future use, there are a few products out there that you can spray on the tub and shower after each use that help to keep things clean. I use them daily and clean with bleach every week or two

Do you have well water? The same thing happens to me, I was told it was hard water, but I could be wrong. I have to clean it with bleach and a pumice stone.
