I am not willing or able. I am too old to join the military, and always knew that armed conflict with US soldiers in the Mid-East would be a no win situation. They fight by different rules and values than us. In this situation the rules for them are simple: "They are invaders, kill them." It is unlikely that this rule will change.
I am a fiscal conservative, social liberal, Independent voter.

Personally, I hope not to have a war in the first place because I am totally against war. I mean, its killing your own species just over stupid things like power! I am a Democrat and plan to stay a Democrat for the rest of my life.

First and foremost I am an American. As a former Marine, yes I am. Do you want this problem to spill over here? You all think that this is BS it is not. I compare Bush & Blair to what Churchill did in WW II stand up to Hitler and the Nazis, Facists and Imperialists, sure it cost many lives but how would you like to live as a Nazi or better yet Muslim. This is the start of WW III. Did you know we lost over 30,000 on DDay? Compare that to 3000 in 5 years.

I would presume, that you are being facetious, about the honorable war part. The only way that I would even think about taking another person's life, is if, my life, and the life of my family/friends, were on the line. Are you old enough to remember the song, by the Temptations, War WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR, ABOUSTLY NOTHING, SAY IT AGAIN.

I'm willing to go to and fight in Iraq because it's what I believe in.
If the war is a complete lie and it's a big conspiracy, why are kids still enlisting to go and fight in it, who were in middle school when 9-11 happened? Seems to me no matter how hard you try, people against Bush still can't win!
And before you ask, I DID fight in this great war on terror

Hard for me to say....I am a woman and I never considered being in the military.
I would like to say that I would die for democracy. The world is a better place with Saddam out of power and we cannot just leave Iraq in the mess that it is in.

Yes, and not just for the Iraqi's, but for my friends, my family, and you too since an Iraq under a tyrant or a bunch of mindless terrorist would find some way to reach the US and kill each and everyone of us, even you.

I would kill to prevent any innocent civilian from being harmed, American or otherwise.
If the US government and military started killing unarmed civilians and dropping lethal gas on old people and children anywhere I'd be among the first to oppose them, and I pray that other countries would step up to help us defend our people from tyranny.

Absolutely not. The goals are so ill-defined it's impossible to know what you're actually fighting for. You can't win a war of ideologies, especially against religious nutcases.
