I am a nurse by profession....but was diagnosed with cancer last year. A complete stranger saved my life and I am now cancer free! My ultimate goal is to help other cancer patients get through the tough times. I am trying to form a local support group that will meet once a month and be there for one another when a person is down and out with this horrible disease. I live in a very rural area and there are currently no support groups for cancer patients here. I think it makes the journey easier if you have someone to talk to that has been through it.
