Somebody in response has put brackets around my question in connection with it's grammar and premises. I do not withdraw my question. I instead accept criticisms.

Having a high I.Q. doesn't necessarily mean that you are sane

You're dealing with two different parts of the brain here. IQ (Intelliegence Quotient) tests supposedly measure our capacity to learn and process new information. This is done in the frontal lobe and cerebral cortex of the brain. Now, for the murderer: I'm going to assume you meant serial kiilers, since a person who commits a one-time crime of passion COULD be perfectly normal. Serial Killers are usually sociopaths (called Disassociative Identity Disorder Nowadays). They're psychological abnormality is that they have no conscience; the KNOW the difference between right and wrong, they just don't care, and feel that rules don't apply to them. There is still alot of debate as to whether this illnes is caused by brain chemistry of social and familial upbringing. The age-old "nature vs. nuture" argument. If it's brain chemistry at work: that would probably occur in the Limbic system, where our emotions reside.

Wisdom and intelligence quota are two different mental states. Some are wise in their own eyes and full of pride. Some can reach a state of mind where they actually think they can do no wrong. Serial killers or deadly murderers often open their minds to spirits of evil and invite demons inside. Cults often practice this hoping to receive knowledge from the dead, but open their minds to the devil's crowd of demons and fallen angels or the invisible world as we know it.

I have always told my children that there are some people in this world that you never want to meet. If at any time in your life, you can recognize someone trying to manipulate and control you - WALK AWAY.

Not many "deadly murderers" (aren't all murderers deadly?) that I know of at least, had really high IQ's?

Except for Jeffrey Dahmer but he was a social retard and a complete and total sociopath.

Name some?

I liked the answer above mine the best... Give them the points!

Folks with higher IQ's may be better able to rationalize their misdeeds.
Of course, no matter how tight the logic is, any conclusion based on a false premise is flase.

People of lower IQs wouldn't pull it off as well? IQ, in theory, is kind of about...resourcefulness. The concept can be applied to ANY task, including the less savory ones.

Just cos they have brains does not mean they have rational liberal judgement. High IQ folks can be just as venal and nasty as the rest of us.

Any correlation between murder and IQ is spurious.

Most murders have more to do with family and emotion.

I question your premises. I doubt it's true. I also question your grammar.
