Because after you sign up, they no longer have to care about customer service, in most cases you are "hooked" for a one or two year contract.

I work for a major cell phone company not stating which one. The reason it seems new customers get better deals is because it takes more money to draw in new customers than to keep an old one. Think of all of the marketing and advertising that goes with bringing a customer over to a new company. With the company I work for old customers are entitled to the same deal as new customers. As well as old customer can continuously keep their same rate plan for as long as they want. You may want to check with your company to see if they offer certain discounts because with my employer some customers are entitled up to a 25% discount with their tenure.

that's probable the comparable phenomenon as what occurs between lots of fans, whilst they get married. whilst they improve into criminally prosecutable to a minimum of one yet another, each thing approximately their dating modifications. i'm getting the comparable mindset with Verizon, yet my new computing device instant account is with T-cellular, and that they do no longer require a protracted-term contract. They have been somewhat friendly, expert, and courteous, and very knowledgeable with the tech help, have been given me going quickly, and it does not look that i could have any extreme problems with them. If Verizon does not do to any extent further proper, I plan to stop my centers with them as quickly because of the fact the contract expires! i've got had problems with billing, connections, long waits over the telephone for service, unintelligible service brokers (distant places accents so heavy i can somewhat understand their speech), sluggish information superhighway speeds (DSL), and important hassles everytime i attempt to alter my password, or my information superhighway id (that's impossible, and that i do in comparison to that function in any respect!) If T-cellular proves to be sturdy, i will stop the land-line communique centers altogether... and consistent with danger in basic terms get a cable television server as a replace...

Mine didnt. I paid a bill and they credited to the wrong account and claimed I did not pay it. They kept leaving me harrassing messages saying they would terminate my service. I had to spend hours explaining and dealing with my bank to prove I paid.
