For those of you playing BF2142, were all the complaints about in game ads overblown?

I've been playing for a while now, and it really doesn't bother me to see an ad for the Intel Core Duo.

Would you recommend BF2142 to others?

I don't mind in-game advertising as long as it's done in context (i.e. a billboard in a city or maybe a poster on a wall where there's supposed to be a poster)
