Your question is a very good one that has caused me to stop and think. My goals will not make my life more satisfying. I think you have hit the nail on the head. My goals are related to my work and will help in that arena, but I don't think they will make my life more satisfying at all! I never thought about it, but maybe I have my goals screwed up. I'm really going to think about this between now and the new year. Thanks.

Reaching our goals mean we have the satisfaction of knowing that we aren't worthless. Once we have reached a goal it's like coming up for fresh air; we can move on and enjoy life; we can laugh more, we can do more, we can live more. Sometimes we just need to prove ourselves.

My goal this semester was to achieve a 4.0, which I did. That will enable me to have good grades when I graduate, and get a job in my field. Goals help us reach where we want to be in life.

It depends on the motivation for the goal and the personality involved. The goal, like the person, is subjective.

The thing about goals are that you are always setting more. I believe you will be proud of yourself; never seek sastification for in it we become lazy. Life is always a learning experience on which we can constantly build.

It's always good when you can check something off your list. I can honestly say that I've done the major things in my life that I want to do. The fun part, now, is maintaining the "happily ever after" part.

As soon as I get home....
