I'm not going to state my opinion because I don't want to influence the answers

I don't care. I understand not wanting to have kids. As long as her husband is okay with not having kids, then who cares? Not every woman has to want to have kids.

Great, your in luck. The technology exists now, and you can have the baby taken out of her womb, and inserted into your abdomen to gestate for the next 9 months. (You will also have to have pregnancy hormone injections) If you really love this foetus, then why don't you offer to carry it? It would be a reasonable request if you carry it yourself. Then she can pay you child support so the kid doesn't have to go without it's needs being met. But be aware of what you are asking: She is currently facing long term pain, potential for severe illness, and death, permanent damage to her body which will make having future relationships and children more difficult, or in some cases impossible due to complications, and may face broken bones or nerve damage that will never heal, as well as permanent emotional damage. If you agree to carry the child you would have to accept those risks yourself. It is not a light request. So take it seriously. This is the most difficult and painful decision of your lives. Only the person who carries the baby has a reasonable right to make the final decision. So are you going to do it? My friend has some links with info on the technology. I can get that for you, to get you started. E-mail me.

Children are a blessing but they change a couple's life dramatically. You have to want children in order to love and care for them properly because it requires a great amount of work and finances as well. Some people are not cut out to be parents and do not want to accept the responsibility. I think that is admirable. Why bring an unwanted child into the world. That would be a horrible thing to do to a child. We have enough troubled kids on the street without adding more to the mix.

I think she's just like me, except I am not married. There is no reason why every woman who is able to have children should. It's definatly a personal decision that dictates the rest of your life if you should choose to have children.

I'm 28, married 1 year and I do not want to have kids. I have never wanted them. My husband was aware of this before we got married and said he's fine with it either way. What's the problem? We got married because we truly love each other. Simple as that.

that is nobody business but hers and her husband..too many people want kids just so they can feel loved.. and once they get them they don't treat them the way they are suppose to or even love the child that they have... so they have another.. it is a viscous cycle .. and deep down they know they did not want children in the first place.. but feel they must have them for the sake of having them

I think that is her choice, but if she did not discuss this dession with her husband before she was married, then she is wrong. I for one wanted to have children right away, but it was not to be. I am lucky enough to have one son now though.

the great thing about our country is that we have the freedom to be what we want. and if you don't want to get married or have any kids, there is nothing wrong with that. just listen to what ur heart says and forget abt what others think.

I wish more people would decide not to have kids. You should not be a parent unless you really want to be a parent and are emotionally and financially equipped to handle a child. It doesn't take any intelligence to breed, it takes a lot to be a good parent and anyone who chooses not to be one should be applauded, not pressured.

I think that if a woman does not want kids then it's ok. Its better not to have them if you dont want them than it is to have them and mistreat them.
