Should the US end its economic blockade of Cuba.

I would be in favor of it. Castro is no longer a threat, Communism is no longer a threat. Cuba was a beautiful place in the 50's, I remember it well. There is nothing to be gained anymore by out blockade. We kiss N. Korea's A$$ and Vietnam and look what they have cost us.

I believe the sanctions were put into place to cause the people to arise and throw out Castro. Didn't work. We trade with China which is a much bigger communist threat than Cuba ever was. I never understood the sanctions. That's a lot of cigars that could have been.

The only reason for the blockade was that castro would not play puppet to the bush dynasty
BTW
The Cuban constitution is the same as the one in the US
the only difference is they actually live by it!

Yes. Here we are getting along with the Soviet Union, which was the primary reason we didn't get along with Cuba in the first place. I think it's all just grudge right now.
