Is it possible that truth - absolute, infallible, unfathomable truth - cannot be discovered and/or defined by those who did not possess it in the first place?

Truth implies lies, there are lies as long as there is truth. Aggravating, ain't it?

In the subjective realm, yes this is true. Only the definer of beauty can determine if something is or is not beautiful. In the objective realm this is not true, because there are truths that are absolutes. One would be nourishment. Without some form of nutrition whether it is food or water we would all parish. This is an absolute truth. On the other hand to say that a life filled with pastries is better than a life filled with steaks will never verify itself to be a truth because the subjective nature of the argument. There are truths but they are far fewer than we may realize.

King David said in one of his psalms that truth is the sum of the word of God...

I always have liked that.

"Truth" is at the core of our being, humanity had lost contact with it but is now reawakening to it. "God dwells within you as you", everyone has unity with God in unconditional love within their hearts.
