Look at the way they are turning out disresptful to everyone, the tv is the worse of the things kids copy we need wholesome programs to help them to deal with the real world in this country you are born into a world with out purpose then to get what ever job they can to make a living as they get older they see how we treat our older ones we ship them to a nursing home to die lonely
without the best of health care they get there quickly. Some of our young ones die in wars their lives cut short being taugh that war is the way to solve problems.. We need to wakeup we are loosing our youngs they should not even have to deal with gangs, drugs,
killing and parents that are not good role models for them. We have created a generation of young people who are confused as to where they fit in. Many to day are just a copy of their parents
lying, cheating , stealing they become someone you would not like to have as a friend, workmate , husband, wife yes we are sowing what we reaped.

I am not so sure that kids need role models per se. If they have a loving mother and even no father at home, they can learn about fairness, and forgiveness.
I think kids are more independent today than they were in the past. They realize that most celebrities do what they do for the money, and are not worth imitation or hero-worship.
I know it is that way with my kids, here at the Zoo.

Jesus is a Role Model. Parents should be as well
Hollywood and sports can NEVER be good role models, because all of them are in a business to MAKE MONEY. Think about it.

some kids filling there friends get a baby at a young age and teens also in the same boat a kid have a kid that no look for any kids that is very sad,i have a little boy 4 years old i am teaching him to be slef out there.this world is so sad with people that is doing worry things.

thats a VERY good question! I think if they have a brother or sister thats not mean to them or they could find a family member like an aunt or grandparent ect. they could also find an after school program to make friends

ministers at church
scout leaders.
great people are everywhere.
they are not hard to find if you look.
turn to someone you know and respect.
and then try to emulate them.
criticizing others will not help.
changing yourself and helping others will help.
