Place a cold spoon on it. I am afraid it wont go away, but you can lighten it up.
Next time, go lower :)

Naughty-naughty! Tell the giver to be gentler.
Basically it's a bruise, so you have to treat it as such. Try gently rubbing some toothpaste on it and then brush it with a toothbrush. It'll go a lot redder for a while, but then the redness should subside. The brushing helps break up the clotting, which will make it less noticeable.

I don't think there is a way to "make it go away". You can try something to FADE it a bit, but a hickey is broken blood vessels trapped on the surface of the skin. The only healer for that is time.

I alwayz use make up but sometimes it just is too dark so then you need to cover it up as much as possible then I use my hair to cover it up. By then it really isn't noticeable at all. Or next time get them low enough so your shirts cover them up it alwayz works until your parents want to take you swimming but them just say I don't feel good! GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR HICKEY and next time try to make it less visible.

If you don't have a turtleneck or the like, try a fashionable scarf around the neck, or a choker if you can get one. Is your hair curled at all? I've heard a few use the "I burnt my neck with a curling iron" a few times.

I've used a washcloth soaked in warm/hot water. Let it sit on the hickey for a little while. :)

Freeze a potatoe and cut it in half and rub it on there till you cant stand it antmore. If that doesnt work you might want to go buy some concealer.
