I think it shows EVERYONE how out of touch with reality Rice actually is.

Nah, there are way too many good ol' boys still pulling the strings. It'll probably be another 50 years at least.

Rice is a lot smarter than Bush, and probably she has a lot better moral character than Cheney, but I still don't think she will be the one for 2007. Probably Obama has a better chance than Rice of becoming the first African American president. The Republican party won't throw their weight behind Rice. They'll sabotage her campaign, as they have for other moderate female candidates in the past - Millicent Fenwick and Christine Todd Whitman in particular. The Republicans are not ready for a woman and neither is the US. Hillary doesn't stand a chance either.

I think we should most definitely have a Black President one day. That would only be fare to other races. As long as they are American I feel anyone should run for President. Do you seriously have a major race issue against Black Folks? If so then you need the Lord in your life because he says to treat everyone in color or not the same and to love one another the same as well and not to Judge. I feel sorry for you. My best suggestion to you would be to find God or live in eternal fire when you die.

Rice was pretty adament about not being interested last I heard.

I don't know enough about her politics to know if I would be interested in her specifically, but I think the country is ready for a non-white male President.

I don't know if I'd want either in the White House, but I'd love to see Rice vs Hillary :)

Rice is out of touch with the reality of everything except for shopping at Chanel and buying from Neiman Marcus (and still looks like sh1t)...I don't know why you white people trip on Obama for crying out loud...he's a loser and what exactly has he done???

This country will take a WHITE female president over a black (male or female) one any day.

Powell maybe. But not Rice. Not with all the defense/denial of secret prisons and torture.

Right now, we would love to have a "presidential" president, who is capable of intelligent responses to pressing questions and a true sense of priority-setting.

I don't think it matters if the person is black, white, blue or green, as long as they can run this country in an intelligent manner, with the American peoples' best interests in mind.

And yes......Rice is....um.......well.......just "yea" haha

I don't think she is out of touch, and I would vote for Obama, but I do think her perspective is slightly biased.
