Sexually transmitted diseases, commonly called STDs, are diseases that are spread by having sex with someone who has an STD. You can get a sexually transmitted disease from sexual activity that involves the mouth, anus, vagina, or penis.
therefore-- a woman who is a virgin who has not engaged in intercourse, may have received an std in another manner.

An STD is a Sexually Transmitted Disease, it can be found in many people having sex and virgins may even have it. STD's can be contracted by touching blood (relatively AIDS), touching semon, and soars. You can even cantract an STD by sitting on a toilet used by more than one person; public bathrooms are a very likely place to contract an STD. Their are thousands of STD's all over the world new ones appear on a daily basis, because of many people having multiple partners. Some STD's are not contained by condoms they can go through, for example HPV is STD that causes cervical cancer in women, but can only be tested for in women. Men can't know if they have or not their is no test for men so they don't they have it and spread it to women they sleep with. STD's are a huge problem now then they were before due to the many men and woemn that are havaing sex with multiple partners and spreading it on to others not everyone has an STD, but it always helps to get your partner tested before intercourse no matter what they may even if they are virgin or only may have sleep with one person.

You can get an STD by engaging in any type of sexual activity. Yes, you can catch a sexuallt transmitted disease your first time. Causes are people not taking care of themselves and having unprotected sex with people they really shouldn't be with.
