a personal favorite album of mine to listen to when I'm depressed is 'What to do when you are dead' by Armor for Sleep. The Fray's 'How to save a life' album is good too. As far as individual songs go, 'someday you will be loved' by Death Cab for Cutie, 'the guitar man' by Cake does it for me too.
