Do you think those with power in Washington saw the boards as a threat to Bush and his war in Iraq? With so many speaking out against Bush and the war, it was only a matter of time before they found a covert way to shut down the boards and free speech. One board that was running stories on the Iraq board had almost 3 million posts, and many against Bush.

Do you think Washington approached Yahoo to shut it down

Yep. I was reading an article where the SS (seceret service) of the fourth reich there in washington dc quarrantines the protesters wherever Bush bot goes to speak and the has the local police arrest protestors. Some were like 75-80 years old, what are they gonna do run em over with they're walkers?

I didn't know such a Yahoo board existed.

I wouldn't doubt that there could be pressure to close such a board down, since I am often amused by obvious neo-con bloggers who must get paid to do hang out on many boards like this one and essentially keep repeating the usual tired mantra and shouting down those that post opposing viewpoints. However, there might be a more practical reason...

Such a board would attract so many posts slinging hatred at Bush and company, and the usual paid neo-con bloggers rushing in like a colony of fireants to blindly defend, it might be a issue of too much bandwidth used, too much server overload, and Yahoo disables it for those reasons alone.

It's possible, but it's known that the boards were stopped due to the heavy proliferation of Trolls, a new and improved message board is due for the early part of 2007. Also the Chat rooms had to be improved due to abuse. When things begin to get worse then changes are made to make it better.

I just think the white house has misplaced residents in it. they are supposed to be in the Churches and the congregations of the real church should meet at the white house on capital hill.
