The color eyeshadow that I use are from Cover girl, because they have the different color pack. You are supposed to put the medium color from the lash line to the brow bone, then I put the darker shade in the crease, then the lightest near the eyebrow and it looks awesome because all the colors blend together. I personally stick with lighter colors like pinks or purples because I have blue eyes also and they make my eyes look bigger. If you use darker colors it would make your eyes look smaller. When I go out to the clubs or bars is when I use colors. The color by Cover girl I use is called Dance party, and it is my all time favorite color eyeshadow. Its a mix of pinks. It all depends on your skin tone and hair color what eye color to use, I have lighter hair so the pinks and purples work for me, but if you have darker hair your could use darker colors as well.

I think it also depends on your skin tone, etc.
I have blue eyes and red hair with fair pinkish skin - I do a lot of browns and creams in my eyeshadows. It doesn't have to be boring, though! Sometimes I go for a little more sparkle, sometimes a little more of a coppery tone, and I like to vary how I apply the shadow.
It usually looks good to do the cream as a base with darker brown in the crease and dark brown eyeliner. That's a good everyday look for me. To dress up a little more, I'll do a dark brown lid with a sparkly cream color under the brow. And to get really dressy for special occasions, I'll try some color - blue is nice (just a touch) or sometime a plum.

A mixture of baby Blue and Grey look good on your eye type. Also, turquoise is an in color, just make sure to apply a base coat on first so it's not too loud and wild. The best thing is to use earth tones though. Also, go for pastel violet colors.

Anything that will complement your colors: so in your case, pinks, burgundy, orange, peach, even some types of brown. so pretty much just the opposite of whatever color eyes you have is the colors you should put near them. In some cases you can use the same or similar colors such as blue or green, but this could compete with your eye color and take attention away from them. Something not too distracting, like peach or light shimmery brown is probably your best bet, ad it won't clash with your clothing.

You want to do shades that are opposite your eye color. Now, I see this would technically mean you should wear red eye shadow (which you shouldn't), but I would try a bunch of different brown tones. Try gold or just a different shade of brown.

Greens and browns would go well, Some cream and if you aren't satisfied with the greens and browns you should try a nice shade of suttle blue and oatmealy colors.

As far as colour theory goes, the complimentary colour to blue is orange, so it's worth trying a very sharp brown or cinnamon-ny colour.
Iridescent colours and blues also tend to emphasize your eyes, and make them look wider if that's what you're looking for.
Good luck! :)

A deep blue or a deep purple will bring out the color of your eyes.

You could try a charcoal or plum. Those colours should help pop the blue in your eyes.
