What if LT got injured or something. Would the Cardinals have a chance?

The only way that the lowly AZ Cardinals will have any shot is if the Chargers rest most of their starters like LT, Rivers and most of their offensive and defensiive lines. I'll predict that SD still wins by 6 or 7 points. Arizona has a very inconsistent running game, marginal defensive backs and Matt Lienart is still in his learning curve. Hey, if it wasn't the last game of the season and the Chargers hadn't already wrapped up the home field advantage SD would beat AZ by, at least, 3 touchdowns!

The Chargers will only play their starters for the first half because the score will be 28 -0 in their favor by the end of the half. Chargers will win 35 - 10.
If L.T. were to get injured (which is unlikely unless someone brings kryptonite to the game), the Chargers still have Michael Turner who is undoubtedly the best backup in the league. The Cardinals have zero chance in this one.

The Chargers should win, they most likely will win. But if the game has no meaning to them, meaning they already clinched the best record in the AFC, you may see them sit some of their starters. Even though the Cardinals are bad, they could make a run for it with Gates, Tomlinson and Merriman taking less snaps.

The Chargers will win against the Cardinals no question in my mind. LT will make sure of that and that will be why they are heading to Miami for SuperBowl XLI to represent the AFC

If the Chargers win Sunday and/or the Colts and Ravens lose. It would put SD squarely in the drivers seat and they will take it easy against the Cards. I say bench LT if this is the case.
