I can't give a whole lot of detail, as I was only about 10 years old when the show was on. I only remember one of the characters had the name McAllister. He wasn't terribly young from what I remember either. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

The only thing I can think of is Wonderama, but I think that was over before the 80's. Bob McAllister hosted it and it was a 3 hour program on Sundays, I think. It had songs like "Do you have an aardvark?"
