You know what, I beg to differ, because i am proud to be a loving and caring individual....I think peopel that have it hard in life have more appriciation for spcial precious things....I feel that I can teach my daughter a lot more about life by taking actually part in it everyday. I think that being a stay at home parent should be treated as a job. If a parent is to stay at home then they need to be doing one-hundred percent to make that home and family function. I think that the house should be cleaned, the meals should be home-cooked, the errands run, and the kids should be raised with an active parent who spends time with them and helps with the homework etc.
I respect the women that stay at home only if they are working hard in those ways and more to contribute to their families. I stayed at home for a year and I can say that staying at home was at times harder and more tiring than running my own business. I am not saying my work is easy but I surely wasn't a lazy housewife either!

Good grief...no. My wonderful wife of 27 years is a housewife...and we're both total slobs...and the house shows it.
The only reason she's a housewife is because I make tons of money and if she worked outside of the house, her pay would go to the IRS. Our kids are at home all the time, tearing up the place (except when they're in school...private, of course.)
We have no maid but we DO bring home take-out a lot...she picks it up 99% of the time. She also shops a lot and our house is FILLED with expensive and unneeded things.
Finally, she's not a "beotch" and not lazy (but I am.) I wouldn't trade my life (or my wife) for anybody else's...although it sounds like you're a tad envious!
(Oh...did I mention that I own 6 cars and own an airplane that I fly myself?)

I don't have a maid.
My husband doesn't pick up dinner.
I don't do lunch or shopping, at least not without the kids.
I work from home so I do a majority of the house work and the kids "stuff" like scouts and sports.
I WISH I had a maid though...... then I could sleep in a bit!

Not at all! Because as what you had said, not all housewives do the cleaning in the house. It doesn't mean that since they are the bearers of the name or title holders whatever, it automatically signifies that they are doing everything according to people's expectations. Actually, so many housewives who do not know how to clean at all, more so not all of them are neat and tidy in their handling of the household chores. But, if you are talking about housewives who clean the house pretty well from toilet to bedroom, I salute the Filipino housewives. They are very good in cleanliness. From the bottom of my heart, yes, you are. I am proud of you guys.

I'll bet if the shoe was on the other foot, you'd be doing the same thing. Stop worrying about what other people are doing. They're not concerned with your life. Go worry about something that's important, like global warming..

Sounds like you are a jealous and bitter person, perhaps upset that your life isn't what other peoples is.
Get over it. There is no point to coveting others lives. Live your own and don't worry about what other people do or "have".
