I think so. I think the reason that it does, is that in watching TV or movies we are literally just sitting there staring at the screen. But our bodies are in wake-up mode, so it's like we have to do something besides just sit there, and it becomes like an activity that satisfies our body requirements to move, it tastes good to us, and we still get our entertainment fix in.

Yes, you go to a movie, you buy popcorn and things to eat. So yes I think watcing tv or movie make you eat.

I think being in your comfy feelgood zone, with friends or family, relaxed after a busy day, makes you want to eat. That may often coincide with TV or movies. I don't think it's movies or TV per se that cause it, though.
