When i turn the key the music and lights work. When I try to start it all it makes is a faint clicking sound. I'm a girl and i need to fix this so any detailed answers will realy help me out.

Sounds like you have a battery with a bad cell. Your best bet is to replace the battery. If you replace the battery and still have the same problem you may want to get your alternator checked out. Reploace the battery first though. More than likely, the battery IS bad.

I own a dodge Ram, plus I work on them all the time. It's the starter going bad. But if you need reassurance that this is your problem, have someone crawl up under the truck and tap on the starter with a hammer. If it cranks up then, you definitely have a starter problem. This doesn't always work, but I've found out that it's the most simplest way to diagnosis without doing anything real technical.

You don't fix a bad starter, you replace it.

YOU ALL ARE WRONG YOU HAVE A BAD BATTERY,GO TO A AUTO ZONE AND HAVE IT CHECK FOR FREE IF YOU NEED ONE BUY IT THERE AND THEY WILL INSTALL IT ALSO FOR FREE
