I think it time we change them also.It is wrong the way they are now.Don't punish people that try to do things right. And that is all these laws are doing now.Its about money. And if you agree with this laws then you should have to go through it also even if you not married from another country

Sorry Lavadog, yet i do not see how allowing someone to stay in accordance to how lengthy they have effectively damaged the regulation would nicely be a pragmatic selection. it should be like declaring, "wow, you may stay because you're transforming into so good at not being stuck". What if a guy were accountable of the vicious rape and homicide of a twelve 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous female, yet went undetected for 20 years? Say he went on to change right into a effective member of his community, a fine looking and straightforward husband and father. under no circumstances broke yet another regulation. at the same time as the DNA data finally comes with the help of and he's stumbled on to be the guy to blame, do you imagine he might want to easily accept a bypass considering he replaced into so good for see you later? criminal habit is criminal habit. i'm not declaring that the punishment should be the same for both offenses, yet i'm declaring that the acceptable punishment should be surpassed down for even if the crime, no count number how a lot time has exceeded. If someone is right here illegally, they should be deported, era. And their little ones? nicely, in the experience that they were born right here they are human beings and ought to stay. I imagine the households would favor to stay at the same time although. with the point to respond to the origional question, the immigration regulations do not favor to get replaced, they favor to be enforced.

I agree. It took 5 years for my wife to get her permanant green card. The sad thing is the house full of illegals down the street can come here and get free food stamps, free health insurance and free schooling without ever paying a cent of taxes here in the US. But yet our spouses are treated almost like criminals until they get their citizenship. It is hard for them to get a legitimate job, health insurance, or anything else. We would have had an easier time if she had come here illegally and then gotten married.

The problem with that is all the people who would marry Americans just to get into the country, then divorce. That is a problem, and apparently many Americans are willing to do this for the right price.

The laws are there for a reason. If you want to be a citizen, go through the legal channels and apply. Same for soon-to-be parents - don't cross our borders to give birth just so you can stay here illegally with your child.

Why should it be changed? The laws have worked for years and it is easy for a wife to obtain a visa. All it takes is some planning ahead.

Nope, I think we should make the laws even tighter. Make them beg for it along with pay for it. Make them take a test that is ten hours long all about US History (in ENGLISH).
