i don't believe they are.
it's just that communication and information are so much
better. years ago without cell phones and the internet and stuff
we would not have heard so much about such disaters.
it's the amount of information that has changed, not the amount of disasters. so it seems like more.
kind of like reporting is up.

It could be because of changes in our atmosphere (global warming and depleting ozone) for the flooding. Earthquakes really are a crapshoot. Pressure is just building up and building up in the earth's crust and once in a while the plates are going to give. They are more deadly and destructive now, because of all of our buildings, bridges and lives that are destroyed in more populated areas vs. 100 years ago.
Bombings and killings I do believe are getting worse. While the folks in the middle east have been fighting since the beginning of time, the methods of murder have become more gruesome and grotesque with the suicide bombings and beheadings. I think it is the shock value that they are going for and the power that they think they have by scaring people.

Capitalism, pollution, greed, pride, and ignorance of the problem.
Mostly industriallization and corruption of the Earth. Indian prophecy can tell you more about the why's and what will come of it. When you trash your home, a living home, do you think it wont fight back?
Also drilling oil is leaving the core dry, like not having oil in an engine, gonna get real hot then reall freakin cold and lock up, stop spinning.

signs of the times. previous cultures kept record of the events of their times. if someone were to look back at these writings, i think they would see that there has been an increase in natural disasters. but hey people are going to believe what they want. look for your own answers.

Please read Matthew the 24th chapter. These are the signs of the last days that Jesus spoke of. Also look at 2Timothy 3:1-5 also speaks of how people would be acting in the last days.
