They already had like 50 different uniform options they could wear, and last night they came out with day-glow yellow, flame embossed, "motorcycle" helmets. This along with the tred pattern accents, made these guys look like they got lost on a BMX trail, and ended up on a football field. Are they more concerned with coming up with ugly, modenized uniforms, or winning football games? The next time I see them wear the same uniform, will be the first. Your thoughts?

The new helmet design has a unique paint job that changes color depending on the angle of the viewer and the lighting at the time and features silver flames below the paint fleck, much like a pimped-out El Camino. But the new look might be a little too new, judging from the response from many of the players.
"They're interesting," offered quarterback Brady Leaf. "I'm a pretty old-fashioned guy, so I just wear what they give me."
"A couple of people said it looked like tennis balls," receiver James Finley said.
"Honestly, it's hard to say," fellow receiver Jordan Kent said. "I'm speechless as far as the color, I can't quite describe it. It's sort of a lightning yellow but then it fades to a kind of lime-greenish.
"I guess if a duck was yellow, that's what I'd envision it to look like."
"It's lightning something," linebacker Brent Haberly said, with some uncertainty. "I'm not sure. It'll all come together when we put the uniforms on, supposedly."
According to reports, the new helmets will be paired with Oregon's notorious lightning yellow jerseys and lightning yellow pants, a combination that will be a signficant set back to high-def tv sales nationwide.
Other than maybe wanting their players to look like a cross between baby doo-doo and dog vomit -- seriously -- what is Oregon thinking???

that's funny that you bring this up.I live in Las Vegas and there was a pep rally on the Fremont experience 2 nights before the game. There were plenty of Oregon fans wearing there colors, the Oregon band and players.I asked several Oregon fans'' listen,no offense, but do you really like your teams uniforms''..surprisingly they said yes.I think they were lying. They were answering out of pride.I told this couple there.'' i have to be honest with you folks, them uniforms are ugly''..they accepted my opion. But they like them.It seemed that way with the other few oregon fans i asked.I don't understand it.I think puke green uniforms are sick.

They have enoung uniform options for a guy to go all for years without wearing the same uni.

Personally, all of their uni.s are pretty cool in my opinion.

That's what we get for leaving the uniforms in corporate sponsorship (Nike)

Nike's in Oregon, and they're taking full advantage. Personally, I think they're pretty cool.
